Block size, slope, zoning, bushfire and flood controls, heritage, the scope of work and the level of detail all change the time involved. A site assessment lets us give you an accurate fixed price rather than a vague hourly estimate.
Yes, once we've assessed your project, you get a fixed price for the agreed scope. If you later change the scope, we'll quote any extra work up front before proceeding.
Our fees cover the drafting and lodgement work. Council application fees, certifier fees and any specialist consultant reports (e.g. BASIX, surveyor, engineer) are separate, we'll flag what your project needs.
Most projects are billed in stages aligned to design, DA/CDC and construction documentation, so your investment matches progress.
